It’s Showtime!

The pinnacle event in the British agricultural calendar, the Royal Welsh Show returns to the showground in Llanelwedd, Builth Wells from Monday 20th - Thursday 23rd July 2026.

Each year, thousands of visitors flock to the heart of Mid-Wales to celebrate the very best of Welsh and British agriculture. This action-packed four-day event offers an exciting showcase of top-class livestock, forestry, crafts, countryside sports, shopping, and outstanding food and drink, alongside a 12-hour programme of non-stop entertainment and displays.

As always, the Show will host a packed schedule of livestock classes and prestigious competitions, attracting leading exhibitors from across the UK and beyond, all competing for the honour of a coveted Royal Welsh rosette.

The 2026 Main Ring programme promises to be a highlight, headlined by the world-renowned King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery and their fantastic Musical Drive. Returning for the first time since 2022, this rare and spectacular display of precision horsemanship is a firm favourite with audiences.

Visitors can also look forward to an exciting mix of entertainment, from the adrenaline-fuelled Paul Hannam Quad Bike Stunt Show to the much-loved Meirion Owen and his entertaining Quack Pack. Aerial thrills will be delivered by the RAF Falcons Parachute Team, while the Regimental Band of the Royal Welsh will provide a rousing musical backdrop. Traditional and countryside favourites, including the Inter Hunt Team Relay, Parade of Hounds and Mounted Games, will once again add to the atmosphere, alongside impressive demonstrations from Tristar Carriage Driving, Hawkeye Falconry UK and the British Army Drone Sports Association.

Following its hugely successful debut, the Heavy Horse Village returns, celebrating these magnificent animals and their vital role in agricultural heritage. Meanwhile, the Food Hall and Welsh Food Village, Gwledd Feast, will be a vibrant hub of flavour, showcasing the very best of Welsh produce.
