Sunday 3rd May, 12.30 - 5.30pm Treberfydd House, Llangasty, LD3 7PX, overlooking Llangorse Lake, explore formal gardens and shrubberies. Take self-guided tree tour, about 30 minutes. Ideal for a picnic. Refreshments in aid of Stump up for Trees. Commercial nursery in grounds.

Saturday 9th - Sunday 10th May, 12 - 5pm, Garregllwyd, Nantmel, Rhayader LD6 5PE. 3 acre landscaped garden at 1000 feet with panoramic views. Large ponds. Designed to cope with exposed altitude, changing weather conditions, with minimal maintenance and encourage wildlife. Also open by arrangement 1st April – September.

Powys is celebrating, garden owner Mr and Mrs H Kidston for opening for 40 years. Glanwye near Builth LD2 3YP, Sunday 17th May, 2 - 5pm. Explore the large Victorian garden, rhododendrons, azaleas. Herbaceous borders, extensive yew hedges, lawns, long woodland walk with bluebells and other woodland flowers.

Sunday 24th May, 2 - 5pm, Llysdinam, Newbridge-on-Wye LD1 6NB. Rhododendrons, azaleas, woodland, Victorian kitchen garden, greenhouses and gravel paths.

Saturday 6th June, 12 - 5pm, Plum Tree Cottage, Ffawyddog, Crickhowell. Organic large cottage garden and large greenhouse, borders with traditional and unusual plants. Wild orchids grow freely in unmown grass.

Sunday 7th June, 12 - 5pm, Combined admission to Llwynau Mawr Farm and Maes Llechau, Cwmdu, Crickhowell. Established cottage garden plus colourful garden with formal and cottage perennial borders. Productive veg plot, stream.
